This is the first song on the first album by metal band Iron Maiden, and it flat out freaking rocks.
I've loved this song ever since I was a pimply faced high school kid, and it still sounds as raw and edgy as it did back then. It's also the first of only two albums with vocalist Paul Di'Anno, who left in favor of Bruce Dickinson after battling alcoholism. Nothing against Dickinson, who is one of the best unheralded singers in rock music, but I always liked the band better with the scratchy-throated Di'Anno singing.
