I didn't get into The Plimsouls until about six years after this debut album came out, but I fell in love with their music instantly. The band didn't really do much after that, but front man Peter Case has released solo material and I think they briefly reunited in 2006 at SXSW. But either way, this is one of the most underrated rock albums of all-time. It's rock music the way it's supposed to be--raw, hooky, and way cool. This song is as close to a "ballad" that The Plimsouls would ever get, and even then it's got more balls than the uptempo songs of today's bands.
