When this album came out on V2 Records in 2004, I swore that Katy Rose would be the next big thing. She writes sensible pop tunes with a bit of teen angst, but not in an over-the-top way. And when the album came out she was only 16, meaning that Katy is maybe 19 now. Though she's been dropped from the label, I read recently that she's working on new music. Hopefully she can resurrect her own career post-V2, because she really is quite a talent.
