She kind of came out of nowhere a few years ago, but Alicia Keys is going to have a nice, long career. This young, sexy singer/songwriter is a throwback to the old days of Motown, and she's been championed by the likes of Stevie Wonder. She can play the piano well, sings amazingly and writes hooky pop/R&B songs that leave most of her peers in the dust. Those of you not familiar with Ms. Keys should start with this album.
