When I moved to Nashville almost four years ago, I became friends with a guy who was a singer/songwriter like me, but not country, like me. Jay Johnson isn't recording anything that I know of right now, but he should be because his stuff is that good....check him out online if you have a chance...he's got a Travis meets Jeff Buckley meets Glen Phillips thing going on, and it's awesome.
