This was the MTV-era band's first single, and it had the synth-pop British New Wave sound down to a teel. Wailing vocals, larger-than-life synthesizers, chiming guitars and large fake-sounding drums contributed to The Fixx's sound, and it was good. This is still a great song 25 years later.
